The menstrual cup is folded using a fold of your choice and inserted into the vagina. Upon releasing from the fold, the opening of the menstrual cup internally creates a seal with the rim of the menstrual cup to prevent leakage of fluids.

Fluids secreted during menstruation are collected in the cup until a time suitable to be emptied and rinsed. The collecting of the menstrual fluids means that the fluids are separated from the vaginal canal, allowing for longer time between emptying contents.

There are many benefits to the way in which the menstrual cup works in the form of collecting instead of the traditional methods of absorbing all fluids, including the fluids used to moisten the vagina. Which in turn leads to dryness,  itchiness and other symptoms associated with traditional types of sanitary items.

Let us show you how it works.
